Howe & Hurd (2004) describe heckelphone #3810 as a model 36b and note that it has been extensively altered by a former owner.
As of 2004, this heckelphone was reported to be owned by Fox Corporation in South Bend (IN), USA, and (sadly) not to be in playable condition. The history of this instrument remains largely unclear.
